1 October 2008 in Warsaw, EXPO XXI Center, str. Prądzyńskiego 12/14,
Poland, took place conference on liquid lamination. The aim of the
conference was to analyze the following question: How
to protect inkjet ink printouts (using liquid lamination) in order to
minimize costs and simultaneously meet the printout quality requirements of
customer ?.

Participants of the conference. |
Dr Leszek Kułak explained why printouts are loosing quality with
time. |
 |
 |
|
Next lecture, gave by Mrs Jolanta Airaut concerned problem how to
correctly protect printouts. |
During
lecture was explained polymerization process of the main component
of liquid laminate. |
 |
 |
|
Mrs
Jolanta Airaut showed special effects appearing using pearl pigments
in liquid laminate. |
Quite
different effects appear using gold metallic pigments. |

Mrs Jolanta Airaut is showing printouts on various media protected
by liquid laminate from Prim Jet Color. |
Dr John Robinson from Antaria discussed benefits coming from using nano-particles
of zinc oxide as UV filter. |
 |
 |
|
Dr
John Robinson presented results of
UV tests of printouts protected by liquid laminates from Prim Jet Color. |
The Dr John Robinson's lecture with supplementary comments was
translated on-line by Mr Dariusz Świercz. |
 |
 |
|
Mr Piotr Wasilewski from Cornelius discussed properties of special
additives in the liquid laminates from Prim Jet Color. |
Using
modern technologies the liquid laminates can have outstanding
properties like pearl sheen or electric conduction. |
 |
 |
|
Mr Bartłomiej Sztoler from Arnaud presented special waxes enriching
liquid laminates from Prim Jet Color. |
Special waxes are applied to obtain anti-abrasive properties. |
 |
 |
| Mrs Monika
Makowiecka from Hesperus gave lecture about practical aspects
of
liquid lamination. |
The main
question was how to protect printouts on cars. |
 |
 |
| Mr Michał
Duda from Prim Jet Color showed in detail how to laminate various
kind of printouts. |
He
presented various lamination techniques: by roller for dense
lacquers, by air-gun or laminator. |
